Mila Lowe has been channeling her creative energy and appreciating the artistry of scene, space, and personality since she was young. For all of her outlets, she has come to hold photography dearest to her heart. Inspired by local photographers while in high school in her home city of Chisinau, Moldova, Mila carried this glow and appreciation of light with her to university at SWU “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. There she practiced her art while also taking one year of photography courses at NATFA “Krastyo Sarafov” in Sofia, Bulgaria. She is constantly learning more about photography by attending different conferences and expos, online and private photography classes.Mila has worked as a photojournalist covering special events for the Mtel in Bulgaria ranging from music festivals to book signing. During the off-season on Martha’s Vineyard she works as a freelance photographer for the Martha’s Vineyard Times and works privately on personal photography projects for her local community. Her portfolio includes weddings, engagement, family, maternity, newborn, event and fashion photography etc. Currently she is focused on improving her fine-art wedding photography. Her travels have brought her joy and talents to Martha’s Vineyard where she has found love, and a passion for the images and inspiration this special place provides. Mila brings a sensitive and personal touch to her photography and is adept at working with subjects, both people and objects, to pick out the subtle details that speak to her imagination.
