These two met in 2005 while Jesse was working for Wheel Happy! Bike shop. Madison always had a crush on Jesse and would even joke that, “one day she would marry Jesse Straus!”. After many years their paths crossed again in 2014, and after a serendipitous night out on the town they started dating. Madison loves how kind and thoughtful Jesse is, and feels both incredibly lucky, yet totally comfortable around him. Madison is authentic and fun and gives all of her love and energy to the people who matter to her, especially her partner.
Their proposal took place during a gorgeous day on the Martha’s Vineyard Ferry while outside on the top deck. After some strategic love notes earlier in the week, and while enjoying a wonderfully relaxed ferry ride, Jesse confided that his writings, “weren’t the whole story”. He got down on his knee and confessed, “one more thing that would make me happier than I am at this moment, and that would be if you would marry me!". Madison of course said yes and the whole deck of passengers applauded. Our families were waiting with posters at the dock to complete the surprise.
Who could ask for a more perfect proposal and a happier couple? They were a great to work with and I am sure they have many years of joy and love ahead of them. Our engagement session took place in Oak Bluffs.
