This summer, they returned to the island once again, this time to document a new chapter as they awaited their baby. We met at East Chop Beach in Oak Bluffs, with the ferry passing in the distance and the sky slowly turning the softest shades of pink. Their baby’s gender was still a surprise, and as the light faded, we couldn’t help but guess together, boy or girl, dreaming about who they would soon meet.
